Keynote Speaker Sharing Lived Experience of Autism & Tourette’s Syndrome
As a keynote speaker, I share my lifelong experience of living with Tourette’s Syndrome and autism helping a wide range of audiences including students, parents and guardians, educators, healthcare professionals, and community organisations—develop a deeper understanding of neurodiversity.
While I respect and value the science and research behind these conditions, I offer a personal perspective that brings the realities of lived experience to life. By bridging professional understanding with real-world insight, I help audiences move beyond awareness towards genuine empathy, inclusion, and meaningful change.
Through honest storytelling, practical examples, and an engaging presentation style, I inspire people to challenge misconceptions, celebrate individual strengths, and create environments where everyone can thrive.

About Me
I was diagnosed with Tourette’s Syndrome and autism at a young age, and for much of my childhood, I struggled to find my voice. Like many young people facing challenges associated with neurodiversity, I often felt misunderstood and unsure of where I fitted in. Everything changed when I discovered music.
Music became my lifeline—a way to express what words often could not. It gave me confidence, purpose, and a creative outlet that transformed my life. What began as a personal passion grew into a successful professional career.
Today, I am a composer, music producer, educator, mentor, and keynote speaker. My music has been featured across television, film, and video games, and I have dedicated over 20 years to supporting, teaching, and inspiring young people from a wide range of backgrounds and abilities.
As a music educator, I teach drums, guitar, keyboard, ukulele, and music production in schools, private lessons, small-group settings, and whole-class environments. I also provide online tuition, helping aspiring musicians and producers develop their creativity, technical skills, and confidence. My teaching approach is inclusive, engaging, and tailored to the individual needs of each student.
Alongside my work in music, I deliver keynote talks, workshops, and mentoring sessions for schools, colleges, organisations, and community groups. Drawing on my lived experience of Tourette’s Syndrome and autism, I help audiences gain a deeper understanding of neurodiversity through honest storytelling, practical insights, and real-life examples.
My mission is simple: to show young people that a diagnosis does not define their future. I want students to see someone who has faced similar challenges, overcome obstacles, and built a successful and fulfilling career. Through my talks and mentoring, I encourage individuals to challenge limiting beliefs, build resilience, recognise their strengths, and believe in their own potential.
I also work closely with parents, carers, educators, and professionals, helping them better understand the experiences of neurodivergent young people and equipping them with practical strategies to create supportive and inclusive environments.
Whether I am teaching music, mentoring students, producing music, or speaking on stage, my goal remains the same: to inspire confidence, promote understanding, and empower people to realise that their differences can become their greatest strengths.
Because no diagnosis should ever limit what someone believes they can achieve.
How the Keynote experience works for Schools
In my keynote talks in schools, I share my personal journey of growing up with Tourette’s Syndrome and autism, demonstrating to students that these conditions do not define or limit their potential. Each talk is designed to inspire hope, resilience, and self-belief, encouraging young people to recognise their strengths and embrace their individuality.
As a lasting resource, every school receives a signed copy of my book, providing students and staff with the opportunity to further explore the themes discussed during the presentation. Following each talk, I offer a Q&A session where students and teachers can ask questions, share their thoughts, and engage in open, meaningful discussion. The book then serves as an ongoing source of reflection, understanding, and support long after the event has ended.

Mentorship in Schools
I also offer personalised student mentoring sessions within schools, either on a one-to-one basis or in small groups, where I serve as a relatable role model. With over 20 years of mentoring experience, alongside my own lived experience of Tourette’s Syndrome and autism, I create a safe, supportive, and non-judgemental environment where students can openly explore their worries, challenges, and aspirations.
I hold Level 2 Counselling Skills training, I’m fully DBS checked, and i’m certified by KCC as a Designated Safeguarding Lead. During these sessions, we work together to understand anxieties and challenges while developing practical ways to manage them. I help students recognise and challenge unhelpful or irrational thought patterns, replacing them with more balanced and rational thinking.
Using person-centred approaches, I support students in building confidence, developing practical coping strategies, and gaining a greater sense of self-belief and empowerment. My aim is to help them successfully navigate school life, prepare for the future, and thrive both in education and beyond.
